Conflict Culture Vision Statement
Our love for God and for one another compels us to create an environment where people can openly discuss and listen fully to diverse viewpoints with equity and empathy, allowing for differences while respecting the collective mission of the faith community.

Covenantal Communication Agreement
1. Whether we are listening or speaking, we will seek to avoid vices such as rage, malice, slander and the fostering of dissension or factions (Colossian 3:8; Galatians 5:19-20).
2. We’ll endeavor to speak and act toward one another as siblings in Christ, in a spirit of love and fellowship. This may require patience or generosity at times and it may also require boldness and forthrightness.
3. When it becomes apparent that hurt or harm has occurred, whether intentionally or not, we’ll address it directly. This may be in a private conversation or it may be with the group. We will seek to listen carefully before responding (Matthew 18:15-20).
4. When meetings are private or confidential, we will practice the Golden Rule when talking about things others have said. Share or speak about others in the manner you would wish them to do toward you (Matthew 7:12).
